Admission Requirements to Study In Italy
Bachelor studies
You must have completed upper secondary courses successfully, have a valid leaving certificate, and be eligible to pursue higher study in your native country.
Students must have a valid IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 bands in each module in order to enroll in an undergraduate course.
Master’s studies
In general, to get into a Master's program at a good university in Italy, you'll need a minimum of 70% (from India).
IELTS (6.0 / 6.5) or TOEFL (90 / 95) is mandatory.
Although GRE and GMAT scores improve admissions and grant opportunities, they are not mandatory for all Master's programs.
Ph.D. studies
A relevant diploma or master's degree program is required.
An overall IELTS score of 7.0, with a writing score of 7.0, or a TOEFL score of 600 on paper tests or 100 on the internet tests
Intakes And Deadlines
In general, there are two intakes for studying in Italy. The first academic year typically begins in September and October and concludes in January or February. The second semester, on the other hand, begins in February and ends in July.

Average Annual Tuition Fees In Italy
Work While You Study
Students from other countries can work for pay in Italy if their visas allow it or if their visa status allows it. Students can only work 20 hours per week part-time during the school year, but can work up to 40 hours during the summer and holidays.
In Italy, there are university-assisted internships for bachelor's and post-graduate students; these jobs provide not only monetary compensation, but also professional development and experience, which are always beneficial to the student.
Many institutions also provide employment opportunities for their students. Campus and faculty services hire students from the university to work in paid positions on campus. These jobs pay for tuition or provide stipends to help with living expenses.
Visa Requirements
Entry visa application form
Recent passport-size photograph;
Travel document valid for at least three months after visa;
Enrolment or pre-enrolment in a university course;
Proof that you have accommodation in Italy;
Proof of clean criminal record
Proof you will return to your home once the Italy visa expires
Proof that you have financial support (at least € 448,07 per month for the academic year, a total of € 5824,91 per year);
Adequate insurance coverage for medical treatment and hospitalization;
Proof of the availability of the financial means needed for repatriation;
Proof of adequate knowledge of Italian or English according to the language of the program;
If the student is a minor, they must have the consent of expatriation signed by each of the parental authorities, or in their absence, by the legal guardian;
Submission of the required documentation does not automatically guarantee visa issuance.
Upon entering Italy and the Schengen Area, even if you have a visa, Border Authorities are authorized once again to check the documents required for the issuance of the visa.
Work Permit After Study In Italy
A work permit and student residence permit is required for non-EU students studying in Italy.
Once the program is completed, only Ph.D. students who are second-degree Masters can apply for a temporary residence permit.
After their extension period expires in 6 to 12 months, it is critical that they have a job. Internships of up to 12 months are also available to students.
Non-EU students will need a "permesso di Lavoro" to work in Italy after finishing their studies.
Based on your academics and expertise, the typical income in Italy for 14 months can be around 1300 euros. A good familiarity of the Italian and English languages is always recommended.
